Mayor Imelda ‘Mel’ Aguilar congratulated the students of Las Piñas Science High School for winning in the recently concluded national and international science competitions. Angelica Remillano won at the National Science and Technology Fair held at Tagaytay City. Marion Rodel Miñano, Lorenz Simoun de la Cruz, Khristine Bancod, and Angela Apolonio won the Best Overall Award for Science Exhibition while Jan Elizabeth Bacar, Alyssa Mae Evardone, Jezreel Angelo Tan , Joseph Lloyd Naguit won the Outstanding Research paper at Penang, Malaysia. With the students during their courtesy call to Mayor Aguilar were Dr. Loreta Torrecampo (Schools Division Superintendent) and their advisers Mr. Genesis Agcaoli and Ms. Ayra Patricia Alvero. Likewise present were Vice Mayor Louie Bustamante, Councilors Danny Hernandez, Renan Riguera, Mark Anthony Santos, and Henry Medina.
