The newly procured Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) were turned over to the staff of the Bureau of Fire Protection Office of Las Piñas City after today’s flag raising activity. Mayor Mel Aguilar led the turn over ceremony together with Regional Director (NCR) Senior Supt. Wilberto Rico Neil A. Kwan Tiu of the Bureau of Fire Protection and Chief /Insp. Jessie Calumpiano of the Bureau of Fire Protection Office of Las Piñas City. The personal protection equipment- helmets, boots, and bunker coats- are needed to ensure the safety and efficiency of the firefighters.
According to FC/Insp. Calumpiano, the latest acquisition is a big boost to the firefighting capabilities of his 96 strong fire protection personnel. Mayor Mel Aguilar is committed to the upgrading of the bureau’s services.
