Mayor Mel Aguilar formally opened the floral design exhibit of the Las Piñas Garden Club at the City Hall Lobby last Monday, May 22. The floral design exhibit is part of the club’s 25th year celebration. It runs from May 22 – 26. 2017. An Ikebana demonstration by Ms. Joyce Milan Kato of O’Hara School is scheduled May 23 from 2:00 pm up to 5:00pm at the Session Hall.
Mayor Mel Aguilar congratulated the officers and members of the Las Piñas Garden Club for its work in the propagation of gardening for the past 25 years. The officers of the Las Piñas Garden Club present during the opening of the exhibit include Ms. Mely Medina (Current President) and Mr. Edgar Martin Littaua (Past-president).
Mayor Mel was assisted by Councilor Mark Santos, Ms. Mely Medina, and Councilor Henry Medina in the ribbon cutting ceremony. Also present in the exhibit opening were Councilors Rubymar Ramos, Carlo Aguilar, Gerry Sangga, Boni Riguera and Danny Hernandez.
