NEW PATROL CARS TO BOOST CAPABILITY OF LAS PIÑAS POLICE

A total of 12 brand new patrol vehicles were turned over to the Las Piñas Police Force in a bid to boost its campaign against criminality in the city.

The patrol cars - 8 Toyota Hilux and 4 Isuzu Crosswind – came from the city government led by Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar and the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Mayor Aguilar led the turn-over ceremony together with Vice Mayor Luis Bustamante and members of the city council to City Chief of police, P/Senior Superintendent Marion Balonglong.

In turning over the new patrol vehicles, Mayor Aguilar stressed the importance of police visibility in line with her policy prioritizing public order and safety.

“I trust that with the additional vehicles our police force would maximize its efficiency and roving capabilities to quickly respond to the peace and order concerns of the residents ,” Mayor Aguilar said.

Las Piñas City has consistently ranked as one of the cities in the National Capital Region with the lowest crime rate. (END)
