Ongoing - up to December 2016 at SM Southmall - is the 1st Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar bowling tournament. It is an interdepartmental bowling competition with players coming from various offices of Las Pinas City Hall. This was initiated by Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar to foster sportsmanship and fitness among the participating groups.
The opening of the tournament was graced by Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar and the members of the city council. In her inspirational speech during the opening program, she emphasized the value of the tournament in helping achieve sustained productivity and wellness by engaging in sports activity. For her, being fit is necessary to keep up to the demands of public service.
