Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar personally attended to the needs of the fire victims that broke out in BF Resort Village, Barangay Talon Dos last November 5, 2016. She – together with the city DSWD staff – distributed relief goods to the 1,000 affected families who were given temporary refuge in the basketball court of the barangay.Fire prevention is a big concern of the city government, so it is coordinating closely with the Bureau of Fire Protection to avoid fire in the vulnerable communities and mitigate its effects to life and property.
