Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar warmly welcomed the students from Sahmyook University, South Korea who were part of the team that conducted the medical/ dental mission at Barangay BF International –CAA early this year. The Korean students went back to the area this week to consolidate their report about the medical mission. They also visited the houses built when the mission team visited the community. Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar was very appreciative of the efforts of the Korean students; she thanked them for being good role models for the youth.
The medical/dental mission was organized through the collaboration of various Rotary Club chapters (local and international). Around 6,000 residents availed of the services of the mission team. Minor surgery, medical check-up, dental procedure, and acupuncture were the services offered at the said event.
Joining the Korean students during the courtesy call to Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar were Barangay Chairperson Asuncion Aguilar (of BF-International-CAA) and a representative from Rotary Club.The students thanked Mayor Aguilar for her generous support of the medical mission.
